(Electro-Acupuncture According to Dr. Voll/Electro-Dermal Screening)
In the 1950s Doctor Reinhold Voll, a German medical doctor, found a way of
measuring the electrical characteristics of acupuncture points. Through a
brilliant series of experiments which combined his western medical and
acupuncture knowledge he made the remarkable discovery that through Bio
Feedback these measurements could:
• Determine the
energy levels of the major organs and systems of the body;
• Identify the negative energetic effects on the body’s function of
toxic substances, food intolerances, and microbes;
• Asses the balancing effect of vitamin and minerals, thereby
assisting the practitioner to provide recommended supplementation;
• Determine corrective remedies to minimise the effects of toxic
chemicals and microbes. |
Dr. Voll found that
the electrical characteristics of an acupuncture point varied as a
substance a person was sensitive to, depleted in, or would benefit from
was placed in the electrical circuit. This is a phenomena of biofeedback
and was named Electro Dermal Screening (EDS) or Electro Acupuncture
according to Voll (EAV).
This method was documented and proven in over a decade of studies in
Germany, and today EAV is widely used throughout Europe by over 25,000
medical practitioners. In the United States and Australia, EAV is
currently growinig in acceptance, particularly with holistic medical
practitioners who specialize in “alternative, holistic and biological”
techniques and disciplines.
There are two basic testing procedures:
Stress screening which is used to assess deficiencies and
sensitivities e.g. vitamin levels, food sensitivities, effects of toxic
load, etc.
Balance screening which is used to determine the energetic health
of body organs and systems. e.g. liver heart, spleen, etc.
EAV offers a quick, non-invasive screening method for determining health
imbalances. Practitioners typically use EAV as a complement to those
standard-testing procedures in common use. EAV has great value in giving
practitioners a “hands on” assessment tool and provides invaluable
information about the patient’s condition. Additionally, EAV practitioners
have found tremendous success using EAV as a powerful tool for determining
preventative and “Bio-Compatible” remedy therapies for their patients.
Please note: EAV/EDS testing is not a “standard medical procedure”, and
today it is not accepted as a standardized diagnostic test for determining
any specific medical condition or disease. EAV is an “Energetic”
assessment of the individual.
