Therefore the
Holistic Modality Directory could be defined as “an electronic medium
where explanations of non invasive treatments of a spiritual (but not
religious based) nature that are used in examining a person, their
environment and there response to living within that environment as a
whole (rather than in isolation from one another) are described in detail,
followed by the contact details of those who Practice within these
recognised fields”.
These definitions form the parameters of what is contained within the
website. They empower people to take responsibility of themselves, their
words, actions and reactions. They don’t just give prophetic guidance or a
reading from say a card (not that I have anything against these methods of
information gathering having used them several times myself) but encourage
the participant to work through their issues predominately for themselves
and thus take control of situations that they sometimes may not have
thought possible.
This Directory does not promote one modality over another, nor one
Practitioner over another. It is merely a collection and collation of
information pertaining to the listed Modalities to assist the Browser, who
may be trying to make an informed decision about whether a particular
Modality and subsequently a Practitioner, from that field is suitable for
their current needs
